Get AI Governance Professional certified – with a Kiwi flavour!

AI has taken the world by storm – and it’s fair to say the IAPP’s AI Governance Professional certification (AIGP) is doing the same for the world of AI governance.

You’ve probably seen AIGP-related posts popping up all over LinkedIn. If you want to join the ranks of people gaining this internationally recognised certification, then you can sign up now for our popular AI Governance Professional training course in September.

We’re proud to be an Official Training Partner of the IAPP – and even more proud to be able to localise the AIGP content for New Zealanders. The AIGP course, Body of Knowledge and exam all aim to have a global focus but it’s fair to say the content is pretty US and EU-centric. This is largely unsurprising given the extensive AI-related activity in those parts of the world. But it does mean that the aspects of New Zealand’s unique environment don’t get a look in. So we’re here to rectify that.

We’ve spent many hours making sure we bring the New Zealand dimension to the materials, including up-to-date coverage of the New Zealand policy and regulatory environment for AI and adding New Zealand perspectives on everything from privacy to copyright law.

AIGP-certified trainer, Frith Tweedie, discusses New Zealand case studies, reflects on the realities of developing AI governance in New Zealand organisations and draws on her wide experience developing AI governance frameworks for a range of clients. This enables you to situate the global learning materials – which often envisage very large organisations with significant resources not typically found in NZ – in relevant, real-life New Zealand contexts that are more relevant to you and your work.

So if you want more than just a US perspective on AI governance, then don’t delay in signing up for our September course. Our March and June courses both sold out and we’re expecting the same for our September course. You can register on our website here.
